I joined the Real Estate World when my son went to Grade 1.  I wanted a job that gave me the flexibility to be there at all the assemblies at school, attend all school functions and to be able to drop him off and pick him up every day.  I could work as much or as little as I needed and put my child first.  This is a great career choice for me and for anyone who is personable and likes to help people.

I made the leap of faith from the West Coast to St. John's to kick off my real estate journey when I was scouting for the right brokerage. I got really lucky. I only needed one meeting. Sitting down with Gord while still wrapping up my real estate course, I knew instantly that this was it.

He provided the training, practice questions and paired me with Stewart Taylor who was a stellar mentor who helped me ace the test and join the team. My top priority in choosing a brokerage was support. Nothing else mattered to me. I knew I'd have countless questions and needed guidance to kick start my success. From day one meeting my colleagues, it was clear this isn't just a workplace, this is a community. We collaborate, support and uplift each other daily. It was known as C21 Eastern Realty when I joined. To tell you the truth, broker surfing has been a bit of a journey for me over the years. I worked at four different brokerages before joining Century 21. Why so many brokerages; I was searching for the broker who would take a personal interest in me and had the systems, tools and services in place to enable me to provide the best service for my customers. Fortunately for me I continued in my search until I came to Century 21 and haven't looked back. It will be 22 years for me this year at Century 21.
